Getting started

What is Dadventures?
Dadventures is a library of ready-made day plans built for dads doing things with their kids, plus a service that builds custom itineraries for your specific date, window, budget, and family.
Do I need to subscribe to try it?
No. New accounts get 5 sample plans (two from your area, three from elsewhere) and 1 free personalized plan to use within 30 days of sign-up — no subscription required to claim them.
How do I get a personalized plan?
Once your profile is set up, you can request a personalized plan from your dashboard. Tell us your date, how long you have, your budget range, and anything useful about your kids. We build the itinerary and send it to you, usually within a day or two.

Account and billing

Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel anytime. You keep access to plans you already received until the end of your billing period.
Do unused custom plans roll over?
No. Your quota resets each billing cycle. Unused plans do not roll over.
Can I switch tiers mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.
What happens to my free trial plan if I do not use it?
The free personalized plan that comes with new accounts expires 30 days after sign-up. It cannot be extended or transferred.

Plans and areas

What is an "area"?
Your home area is a 25-mile radius from your billing address. We use it to show nearby plans and to keep access fair where the catalog is still thin.
What if there aren't many plans near me?
In low-density areas (fewer than 25 plans within 25 miles), we give you 2 custom plans per month and expand browse access to 50 miles. If coverage is still sparse within 50 miles, we unlock the global catalog for your account.
What does Premium add over Standard?
Premium gives you browse access to the full global catalog — every ready-made plan in every city — not just your 25-mile home area. Both tiers include 1 personalized plan per month in normal-density areas.
What if I travel and want plans in another city?
Premium is designed for this — you can browse the catalog anywhere. Basic and Standard focus on your home radius, though low-density rules may widen or globally unlock access if your home area is sparse.

Personalization

What is a personalized plan?
A custom itinerary for your date, your window, your budget, and your family. We usually turn it around in about a day or two.
Do you need my kids' names?
No. Ages, interests, and needs are enough.
What information do I provide when requesting a plan?
Your preferred date, how many hours you have, a rough budget range, and anything helpful about your kids — ages, interests, energy level, mobility needs, anything you want us to work around. The more context you give, the better the fit.
How long does it take to get my personalized plan?
Most plans are delivered within one to two days. We will let you know if something takes longer.

Privacy and data

How do you use my billing address?
We use it to define your home area and plan density. We do not sell it.
Is location sharing required?
Optional. Separate from billing address. We ask before we use it for features like near me or the map.
Do you collect data about my children?
We collect only what you choose to share in your profile — ages, interests, and needs you provide when requesting a plan. We do not collect names, photos, or any information directly from children.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. You can request account deletion from your profile settings. We will remove your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.
